Hello, my name is Clara, the Founder and Creator of The Find.

In August of 2022 I moved from my small town in Pasadena, Maryland to an even smaller town, Lana’i City, Hawaii on the island of Lana’i. This endeavor began on a whim and great deal of faith and hope. I landed a job at the Four Seasons Resort and quickly fell in love with this Island and all of its wonderful people.

Being a creative soul at heart, I bought myself a sewing machine while frequenting the local thrift store for fabric and clothes to up-cycle and create something new. In October of 2023 I transferred departments and started working at the most pristine and beautiful Golf Course in the world. At Manele Golf Course it’s very difficult to not fall in love with the sport. This along with my sewing became a bit of an obsession. Combining the two and inspired by a co- workers comment of our lack of local Aloha head covers I began creating them. This started with any fabric I could find but knew there was something beautiful here.

February of 2025 I moved to Maui to expand this idea. With a broader selection of fabrics and community, the Find is able to help me and others hopefully find a greater purpose beyond just golf and head covers.
